Life is about stepping out of your comfort zone

I’m a Spinal Neurosurgeon . I had my Medical School (1987-1993), Residency in Neurosurgery (1993-1997), Master Degree (1998-1999) and PhD (2007-2009) in Brasilia, Brazil. I performed my International Fellowship in Spinal Surgery in USA (1999-2000), at the Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH), Baltimore, and at the University of Wisconsin (UW), Madison. I also had my Post-doctoral Fellow in Spinal Surgery in USA at the University of Wisconsin (2011-2012). So, I finished my training in neurosurgery 17 years ago, and I’m practicing spinal surgery for the last 15 years, since I’ve completed my Spinal Training in USA in 2000 (JHH and UW). I’m a Professor of Neurosurgery and Spinal Surgery since 08/1998 in Brazil (on work leave since 01/2013, when I moved to the Gulf area)
